I was tagged by [livejournal.com profile] highandrandom, so here goes.

1. One movie that made you laugh: Do I have to list just one? The movie I've probably laughed the most at was A Night At the Opera, clearly the best Marx Brothers movie ever made.

2. One movie that made you cry: Earth remains the movie I've wept the most over. That and Schindler's List.

3. One movie you loved when you were a child:The Little Mermaid was my most-loved younger-childhood film. I'm ashamed to admit it, but the Mighty Ducks films were my most-loved older-childhood films.

4. One movie you’ve seen more than once: Most Marx Brothers films, Robin Hood: Men In Tights...Serenity.
5. One movie you loved, but were embarrassed to admit it: Bring It On.

6. One movie you didn't like: The Dark Knight'. For about two weeks I was having intense online feuds with people about this.

7. One movie that scared you: I know they're meant to be spoofs, but the Scream films scared the hell out of me. Possibly because they became a sleepover favourite around the same time that I started watching Buffy, they helped me make up my mind that real axe-wielding psychos are much scarier than bloodsucking fiends. Because hey, at least the bloodsuckers have rules that they have to follow. As long as I don't invite them into my house, I'm sweet. Axe-wielding psychos are another matter.

8. One movie that bored you: You Can Count On Me. *shudder*

9. One movie that made you happy:Amelie. Possibly my favourite movie of all time.

10. One movie that made you miserable: The thought of an Americanised, modernised film adaptation of The Dark Is Rising makes my heart hurt.

11. One movie you weren’t brave enough to see:I wasn't brave enough to see the film adaptation of NL (The Golden Compass). See 10 re films raping the books of your childhood.

12. One movie character you’ve fallen in love with: To be perfectly honest, I can't say I've ever fallen in love with a film character. Book characters, yes. But there's something about seeing them as actors playing a part that makes film characters kind of...difficult to love.

13. The last movie you saw: Persepolis.

14. The next movie you hope to see: Waltz With Bashir. I saw a preview for it when I was seeing Persepolis and it looks really interesting.

15. Now tag five people: hhhmm, who usually does memes... [livejournal.com profile] soapyhermit, [livejournal.com profile] boojumlol, Catie (who is on Blogger, but I think sometimes reads this), [livejournal.com profile] quicklingbard and [livejournal.com profile] thelxiepia. Anyone else feel free to do this meme too.

...until I got to this post. Then I had to get my rage on. But check out the 'posts of note'. The ones on Mal Reynolds, Veronica Mars, Discworld, and in particular HP7 are really fantastic.
