Beyond Selidor

I just nominated some fandoms for this exchange, which sounds as if it's right up my alley (given that 95 per cent of my fannish feeling is directed at canons of the '90s and early 2000s).

Participants can nominate up to eight fandoms, and up to twelve characters and/or relationships within those fandoms. (Due to the way Ao3 tagging works, it's impossible separate characters and relationships in an exchange of this nature, so if you want a particular relationship - pairing or platonic - you have to nominate it as if you were nominating a character, if that makes sense.) Eligible works are those with no new material produced between 31st December, 2005 and now.

Participants will need to request between 3-6 fandoms, and offer 4-10. You can write fic or create fanart. For more information, go to Ao3 or the comms at myoldfandom or myoldfandom.

I'm not a mod for the exchange, but I always struggle to find out about exchanges at the point when nominations are open, and so I end up not participating. (For some reason, mods of exchanges seem to promote them after the tag set has closed, which I find baffling.) So for this reason, I'm posting about it in the hope that people who, like me, want to share the love for old, closed canons, can join the exchange and nominate stuff they want to write/draw and read.
