What do you think of the most when you are alone?
My thesis, my lack of money, where I'm going to be living next year, why my intermission forms haven't arrived yet, the problems various friends have with their lives. Yeah, I worry. A lot.

Do you like Sushi?
I adore sushi. Until quite recently, there wasn't a decent sushi place in Cambridge, but a Yo! Sushi has just opened. It makes me think of soapyhermit.

What are you thinking of?
Blogging about Pendulum and how their music is very visual.

Will your next kiss be a mistake?
Definitely not. Unless some random stranger in the street comes up and kisses me. Then it would be a mistake...for him or her!

I'm in one already!

Watching SPN and eating lunch.

What's the relationship with you and the last person you talked on the phone?
I almost never talk on the phone. The last person with whom I had a phone-like conversation was my mother, when we skyped on Sunday. The last person with whom I actually spoke on the phone was Nanaki, who is one of my awesome sraffie friends.

How did you get your last bruise?
This is intensely embarrassing, but I banged my shin on the side of M's bed when I freaked out because I could hear H in the room next door. My leg started bleeding, and there is a huge scar and bruise on it.

Have you ever kissed a soccer player?
I think I've kissed someone who played soccer, but he wasn't a soccer player.

Do you think that you will ever live a happy life with somebody someday?
Well, I'm ridiculously happy right now.

I am a morning person who has become a night person by necessity.

To be honest, no. There is one person I wish I'd never met, but we haven't been in contact since September last year, so I don't know if that counts.

Do you have a bad temper?
I'm passive aggressive. There are a lot of things that make me very angry, but I never express anger directly to the individual who has caused it. Instead, I whine about things to some third party, who can then express anger on my behalf. Some have suggested that this is kind of unhealthy.

What kind of shirt are you wearing?
A pastel green long-sleeved t. shirt. Actually, I'm freezing, so I'm about to get a jumper.

What colour are your eyes?
Green.

Do you wear your seat belt in the car?
Always. It astonishes me that there are some parts of the world where seat belt wearing isn't mandatory.

The alarm.

I've never eaten at Taco Bell.

Have you ever broken anything because you were mad?
I broke my childhood chair over a psychology essay in Year 12. I threw the chair across the room. I really regret doing that. I love that chair.

How's your heart lately?
Like this, actually. Thanks for asking.

Miss anything from your past?
I work really hard to live without regrets, and although it's difficult, it seems to be the right thing to do. I sometimes miss the person I was (and the people around me who made me that person) from earlier times in my life, but I think that we need to build the Republic of Heaven where we are, because for us there is no elsewhere, and all that.

Are you wearing a bracelet?
No. The only jewellery I wear is earrings, as I find rings, necklaces and bracelets very uncomfortable.

The fridge, the freezer, the other fridge and the microwave.

Do you like hugs?
Yes!

Last person to play basketball with?
The last time I played basketball would've been in primary school. We never did basketball for PE in high school.

Do you like Chinese food?
Yes, but only if the meat is of good quality.

I really hope not, because I have had my heart broken, and it is awful.

'Don't call me baby'.

Is anyone protective of you?
I think in some ways, a lot of my Cambridge friends and sraffie friends are quite protective of me. Not in a 'let's protect Ronni from the evils of the world' kind of way, but in a 'we look out for you and want you to be happy' kind of way, which is kind of how I feel about them too.

Do you get drunk every weekend?
Not every weekend, but I do enjoy drinking.

Do you like hot or cold showers?
Boiling hot. At home, my sister and I are notorious for turning the shower heat up about twice as high as Mum likes it.

Describe how you feel right now in one word?
Zen.

Would you rather receive a bouquet of daisies or roses?
I like the smell of roses better, but to be honest, I'd rather have something like lilies or gardenias or daphne.

What's your middle name?
I have my dad's surname, Middleton, for my middle name. I've been idly contemplating having a 'proper' middle name. Claudia is top of the list, although it seems like too much hassle.

What colour was the last hair tie you wore?
Black.

Do you think people have any misconceptions about you?
Yes, although this is a complicated answer. Without getting too philosophical, who is the 'real' you? The you that you know, personally, or the you that the people around you perceive?

Do you usually keep your opinions to yourself or announce them?
If it's an opinion that won't cause conflict, I voice it, but I have a great deal of difficulty voicing opinions that might evoke anger in other people, or when their reaction is uncertain. It's led me into some pretty bad situations.

Honestly, what's on your mind right now?
Whether I'm going to have time to go to the bank before I go to the dentist.

How long was your longest phone conversation? Who was it with?
My mother, definitely. For about two hours.

Well, I sang the lyrics of 'Billie Holiday' by Miike Snow while I was drying my hair, but the last thing I said was 'have a good day' to D when she left the house.

If you could go anywhere else in the world right now, would you?
This is exactly where I want to be. But I would quite like to be able to teleport back to Australia.

Would you say that you have a nice relationship with your parents?
I'm really close to my mother. I have a complicated relationship with my father, but in my situation at least, 'I believe your parents did the best job they knew how to do'.

The last person you talked to online?
I was talking to a bunch of sraffies last night in #btts, but the last one with whom I had a sustained conversation about deep and meaningful stuff was thelxiepia, in #btts last night.

What a ridiculous thing to even ask! Of course it's bad! It's deplorable.

Straight.

Do you consider yourself an offensive person?
My greatest fear is causing offense, as I may have implied above. It colours my every interaction. That being said, I have really appreciated it when I have caused offense and people have called me on it.

Love.

Honestly, how many people have you truly fallen for?
Two, I think, unless you count my Great Epic Unrequited Love of 2001-2005.

I'm okay, I think. My problem is adding to my repertoire.

What is your favourite band?
Massive Attack, although I cheat on them with Miike Snow, The Knife and Pendulum.

Could you date someone that drinks?
I do date someone who drinks. And before that I dated someone who drank. I drink myself. It's not really an issue.

What colour are your bedsheets?
I have one yellow set, and one white set. In Australia I have two blue sets of sheets.

What are you listening to now?
'Salt in the Wounds' - Pendulum.

What is your favourite song of all time and why?

Is there anything you're looking forward to?
Formal tonight. Benefactors' Dinner in college on Friday. My Obernet friends coming over this weekend. Going home next week.

There are a lot of things I'd like to say to a couple of people, but I will never say them.

Get up, go running, go to Irish class, work on my Quaestio article, go to a lecture, meet my friend A for coffee, come home.

9. The only reason it's not a 10 is that I find it very difficult to be so far away from Australia. But this is where I want to be, and apart from that, I'm very happy.

Not really.

What was the last movie you watched in theaters?
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. I adored it.

How do you feel about those whose opinions are considered to be offensive and unjustified to your own beliefs?
I feel sad for them.

Personality - although for me, brains is such a huge and important part of personality.
